At this station we are going to talk about how we already use technology. Think about: video clips, audio clips, powerpoint lessons, websites, images, etc.
Step one - Take the calendar provided and create a curriculum map of your digital resources.
Step two - Evaluate your calendar.. where are the holes?
Is it a specific unit?
Time of year?
Is it because the content doesn't lend itself to a digital experience?
Is it your weakest content knowledge? etc.
Step Three - Standards... for students and teachers... who knew? Look at the standards for students and cross reference it with your curriculum map. What outcomes are you addressing, what outcomes do you think you might be able to address?
Step Four - Old Hat, New Hat
Take a look at this digital version of Benjamin Bloom's taxonomy. Looking at your curriculum map, what areas of cognitive thinking do you already address? Can you modify any to meet the new digital version?
